Responsible Play
Our games cost nothing, which removes one risk and leaves others in place. Here is how we think about the rest.
Pitch of Destiny is 18+. This is a social gaming site offered for entertainment purposes only. It involves no real-money wagering, offers no opportunity to win money or prizes, and provides no way to purchase, redeem, transfer or withdraw virtual coins.
What a free game can and cannot do
Because nothing is bought here, no one can lose money on this site. That is worth stating plainly, but it is not the end of the subject. Games built on chance are engineered to hold attention, and a free one holds it just as effectively as a paid one. Time is a real cost even when coins are not.
It is also worth being blunt about what the results mean. The Ninefold Oracle deals from a fixed bag of nine cards, shuffled at random by your browser. There is no skill in it, no pattern to learn, and no streak that carries any information about the next draw. A good run here says nothing about your luck anywhere else, and it is not practice for real-money gambling of any kind. Social games are typically tuned to feel generous in a way that real wagering is not, which makes them a particularly poor guide to anything outside themselves.
Keeping it in proportion
- Decide how long you want to play before you start, and let the clock end the session rather than the next draw.
- Play when you are in reasonable shape for it — not to fill an anxious hour, and not to shake off a bad day.
- Resetting the credit meter is free and unlimited, which makes it easy to keep going indefinitely. Treat the reset button as a decision, not a reflex.
- If you find yourself playing on autopilot, close the tab. The balance was never real, so nothing is lost by walking away mid-chart.
- Keep the games in company with other things you enjoy. If they start crowding those out, that is the signal.
Signs worth taking seriously
Play that has stopped being fun tends to announce itself. Sessions run longer than planned. The games creep into time set aside for work, sleep or people. Stopping feels irritating rather than neutral, or you find yourself hiding how long you have been at it. None of these are unique to gambling, and none of them require money to appear.
If any of that sounds familiar, stepping away entirely is a reasonable response. It is also worth speaking to a doctor, a counsellor, or a support organisation that handles gaming and gambling concerns in your own country — services and helplines vary considerably by region, and a local one will be far more useful than anything we could list here.
Players under 18
Our games are made for adults and are not suitable for children. If you share a device with young people, the parental controls built into most browsers and operating systems can restrict access to this site. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to play; see our privacy policy for how we handle that.
Taking a break
There is no account here, so there is no self-exclusion process to complete — closing the tab ends everything, and nothing about your play is stored for you to come back to. If you want a firmer boundary, most browsers and site-blocking tools can block this domain outright, and we would not take it personally.
